What is Lexxika?
Our team have spent more than 10 years providing translation services and recognised a specific need in the insurance assistance industry. Lexxika was created to specially meet this need with dedicated specialists.
Do you only work with insurance companies?
We don’t provide translation services to anyone else, so you have our undivided attention. Lexxika is designed to meet your team’s needs.
Why do you work with insurance companies?
We saw that they were being underserved by traditional translation agencies. Insurance and Assistance companies need specialist, streamlined and secure services they can rely upon.
How quickly can I get started?
Within a day, depending on the integrations you need.
How secure is the Assist portal?
Very. Files are encrypted when they are uploaded and translators are prevented from downloading the documents; all translations take place within the portal. Access to the file is revoked when the translation is complete.
Where is Lexxika hosted?
In the cloud. The servers are held in a secure data centre, managed by Microsoft Azure. They are monitored by CCTV and security staff. All files are backed up on multiple secure servers.
How can you be sure that translators won’t engage in malicious behaviour?
Lexxika was built to ensure that translators can’t download or keep files. They also sign a contract with us, which contains a strict NDA. We’ve been working with many of our linguists for over ten years and they’re part of the Lexxika family. We treat them well and know them well.
Are you GDPR compliant?
We are. We have taken every possible step to prevent a data breach and hacking, so you can trust that sensitive data is secure.
How do you process translations so quickly?
We have a pool of specialist translators around the world who are able to start work the second files are provided to Lexxika. Their expertise with technical and medical language means they can process files faster than non-specialists.
How do you charge?
You can request a quote when you provide the document. Charges are based on the number of words. The same rates apply regardless of the language or level of urgency.
Am I tied into a contract?
No – and there is no subscription fee. You only pay for what you use.
Can I pay more if a request is urgent?
No. We treat every case as an emergency, unless told otherwise, so we process the most urgent requests within two hours or as fast as humanly possible for the same fee. We have a flat fee structure to keep things simple. That’s what assistance companies deserve.
How do you manage quality control?
We assess the skills of translators before they join the platform. We regularly conduct peer reviews to ensure ongoing quality.
